"Get ready for an unforgettable and out-of-this-world evening! Join the Cliff Valley Astronomy team for an astronomical night:
Equipment exhibition.
Meteorite collection.
Star Party with powerful and robotic telescopes.
Astronomy enthusiasts will have the chance to see the following celestial objects:
- Saturn
- Nebulae
- Star clusters
- Galaxies
Equipped with new technology, we will be able to showcase objects that are normally not visible with regular optical telescopes. We will also have the opportunity to capture images of galaxies and nebulae.
Schedule:
- 7:00 PM: Equipment demonstration and meteorite exhibition.
- 8:15 PM: Short break to prepare the telescopes for the Star Party.
- 10:30 PM: Conclusion of the astronomical evening.
*We kindly ask participants:
- Dress warmly, as the temperature can drop quickly after sunset.
- Bring a camping chair for your comfort (optional).
- Please limit the use of your mobile devices, especially the light/flashlight, as we want your eyes to acclimate to the darkness for a more enjoyable experience. It takes about 30 minutes for your eyes to fully adapt to the dark. The Cliff Valley Astronomy team will have red lights. Red light is the only light that will not disturb your night-adjusted eyes."
